Ascent Fine Cabinetry warrants its cabinetry to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser/homeowner under normal residential use. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, alterations, improper installation, storage or handling.

As with other natural materials, wood is affected by environmental factors such as natural and artificial lighting. Darkening or mellowing of the wood can be expected and is a natural process as wood ages. Each wood species also exhibits its own distinctive patterns and characteristics which add to its natural beauty. These variations in color and characteristics are not considered imperfections or defects. This warranty does not cover the natural aging and darkening of wood color nor does it apply to inherent growth characteristics of wood. Cabinets that are painted, whether paint grade or another species can have some hair line cracking at joints that are out of Ascent Fine Cabinetry's control and will not be considered for repair or replacement.  These occur with every wood species, however can be more apparent with lighter colored paint. The standard relative humidity range of 45-55% must be maintained to keep this warranty in service. A standard temperature range of 45 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit must be maintained regardless of the cabinet (s) being stored or installed.

This warranty covers material defects. The defective material will be replaced or repaired according to this warranty. If warranted products are found to contain defects covered under this limited warranty, Ascent Fine Cabinetry may, at its sole option, either; (1) repair the individual cabinet(s) at no charge, (2) replace the individual cabinet(s) at no charge, or (3) refund the net purchase price of the individual cabinet(s) to the purchaser. In no event shall Ascent Fine Cabinetry pay for or be held liable for the cost of labor, installation and touch-up of the replacement products or the original products or for any other cost (indirect, consequential or incidental) related to the replacement of products, all of which would be the responsibility of the person making the claim. This warranty also excludes any costs related to pick up or redelivery of any parts. Some replacement parts are subject to availability and may differ from those originally supplied.

To the extent permitted by law, this warranty does not cover special, incidental or consequential damages (such as labor expenses) whether arising out of breach of warranty, breach of contract, tort or otherwise. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to the purchaser.

This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights and the purchaser may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. This warranty is only valid in the United States of America. This warranty is non- transferable.
